 Computer Technicians
 

Minimum Qualifications: 

This position requires a fair amount of flexibility as the work from day to day can be quite varied.  The position necessitates a willingness to ask questions if something is unclear.  As this position requires daily travel to client sites in the central Kentucky area, reliable transportation is a MUST.  An accredited certification (A+, Network+, MCSE, etc.) or similar level of work experience in the field is highly desired, but is not strictly required. 

Successful candidates should meet the following requirements: 

In General:

• 5 years minimum professional experience working in an IT related field
• Current Microsoft or equivalent certifications
• Superb interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to provide remote and onsite support for client and users
• Be able to plan, design, and implement projects in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Install, configure and test all hardware and software required for client installation
• Possess ability to market our services as well as support our client technically
• Strong time management skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality that works well individually and in a team environment
• Ability to lift, carry, and move all components of PC’s, Servers, network equipment etc
• U.S. Citizen
  

Be very familiar and comfortable with:

•  Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN 
•  Firewalls and VPNs 
•  Servers and Network Equipment 
•  Desktop support skills in all Windows Desktop and Server environments 
•  Having an up to date knowledge and understanding of trends and emerging technologies
•  Maintaining an efficient and secure IT infrastructure for small to medium size networks
